Classes by groups 3 & 4

Hi everyone, welcome back to my blog馃榿

Last week we continued with the lessons and it was group 3 & 4's turn. They focused on the receptive skills which are listening and reading.

Group 3 provided different audios for the students to practice their listening and I think it was really nice how they also provided the meaning of the new vocabulary that the students might not know, which made it easier for them to understand what the audios were about.

They played kind of like guided audios for students to draw different stuff that the audio was asking like drawing a specific scenario. They also did a quick spelling exercise for students to practice all of the letters of the alphabet they had learned in the previous classes.

The group did a great job on supervising the student's work and checking their progress.

They played a game for the wrap up and called it "Chayanne's Hot Potato" and it was really funny but creative way for students to express what they learned in class while a Chayanne song played in the background.

Here you can see our reaction to Chayanne!馃槀

Group 4 focused on reading and I really liked how the topics have remained the same for all of the four different skills and that way students can practice the same topic, for example greetings, in four different ways and be able to master it.

They had all of the students stand up to play a game and then they had them read a role plays of specific scenarios like giving a phone number and spelling your name.

It is so nice when students participate in class and see them have fun!

That was it for this entry, it is always nice to just sit down and recall what all the previous groups taught to the students and remember funny moments in class, everyone has been doing a great job. Stay tuned for group's 5 and 6's entry, thank you for reading, bye-bye!馃憢
