Hello everyone, welcome once again to my English Didactics II blog馃榿
We started our third and last register and we continued with round 2 of our classes.
The first group teached new vocabulary to the students about their daily routine and had them write a small paragraph about their daily activities using the new vocabulary and the frequency adverbs as well.
For practicing, they handed some material to the students and gave them around 2 minutes to work on it while playing some music on the background, using Suggestopedia.
The second group focused on teaching grammar and they did a really nice job! I know that from the perspective of a student, grammar can be a headache sometimes and from the perspective of a teacher I think it has to be twice as hard to teach it in the right way so that all students can understand but the class of Maru's team was really interactive and I think they all learned something new.
This team also had the students play a version of Who wants to be a millionaire but the questions were related to simple present of course. I didn't take any pictures of that unfortunately but all of the students were working together to get the right answers and I could tell that they were all having fun while learning and as a teacher it is a really nice thing to achieve during class.
Both teams did really good and I really enjoyed the content of their lessons and the activities as well, there were a total of 10 students for this lesson and it is always nice to see the ones that have been since the beginning and don't miss any of their classes, we really appreciate them!
That was it for this entry, stay tuned for groups 3 and 4 next week, thank you so much for reading, bye-bye!馃憢
Hello Dani, you updated your blog in no time! :D I like the part where you mention that teachers (you and your classmates) appreciate seeing the students who never miss a class. I think the feeling is reciprocal, for there are some students of yours that when being absent they either ask for permission or take the consideration of sending greetings to teachers and classmates. All of that proves that you're doing a great job. Way to go!
